Grim Reaper Update
 

Well, the Grim Reaper tried, but didn't quite come through on Thursday.

(this IS just kidding, ok? I really don't give a damn who wins.)

The undefeated team won 2-0 in a helluva game. They were helped out by three double plays, each on fly balls flagged down int he outfield and the outfielders doubling up the runners before they can retouch. I haven't had three of those this season prior to today...

And big kudos to my BU. He was more indecisive than a Democrat Superdelegate. Went to him on third pitch of game and had to ask him twice if we had a swing, a no swing, or was he watching the hang gliders from the base just over the hill. We had, um, delays before we had calls. Drove me and everyone else nutso (for me, not a far drive). This was not just taking his time to make sure he got the call right...this was bang!...1...2...3...out! He's a good guy and a good umpire, just kinda let the pressure get to him a little. but we got the game done in an hour (6.5 innings) and everyone went home happy. Well, at least for the winners.

Perhaps CES was rattled by Al?

Al in one dugout, Mags in the other, the Headstrong Coach of the Game Award was a tie.
