18U Nationals

Anyone out there doing the 18U Nationals in Moline, Il?

qcumpire Sun Mar 09, 2008 08:05pm

I am. It should be a great tournament. They're expecting 135 teams.

qcumpire, I probably know you. I'm Terry B. Looking forward to the tournament this year. Should be alot of good softball.

I would imagine you would need to be submitting your agreement and pic fairly quickly, because they are meeting in april and thats when they do their trades and stuff like that. Sacramento has the following:

MensSP C - Lancaster
2 slots

You host Mens 45SP in Roseville
4 slots

2 slots to the 14A FP W in Clovis

and 4 slots to the Las Vegas 12B FP W

I'm not sure about what you all have in terms of regionals, HOF etc.

The moral of the story is contact your UIC asap, because thats not a lot of slots.

LOL.....Wow where does one get that kinda info. Seeing those small numbers I'll assume I'm not getting selected.

Though I would love to go to Vegas. I was planning a trip there this summer anyay. Grew up in Kingman ,Az. Brother still lives there. Went to Unlv. Go Rebels.

I dunno where you would get it, I get it at the board meeting. Board meetings are open, so you might find out when the next board meeting is in your area and crawl your but in there :D

We are hosting a huge 18G Gold Sector Qualifier on June 28-29.. that should be a blast with all the best teams coming... keep your ears open for that. There is no way we have enough umpires of that caliber for that big of a 18G tourney and the call will go out to the other associations for their best, including yours I'm sure. Roseville has a 16UA NQ July 4-6 and 18U A July 11-13 regional champ and .. I'm guessing that would be you guys. I'm 95% sure Ill be at the Gold sector qualifier.. hopefully sac puts outs the word and I'll get called for the roseville tournies, too!

I'll pm you when I get the word on the gold sector tourney if you want.

The only Terry B. I know is a left handed bowler. At least he learned how to use his right hand on his overhand outs.:D
