downloadable rule book

Where can I find a rule book that I can download onto a CD to use the search when I have my computer.

I have the hard copy the I received from my local assoc. but would like to download the book onto the disk also.

OK, wisea$$, which sanctioning organization's book... some are available for download (NCAA, AFA, PONY, {laughing}USFA{/laughing}). Some are not, at least not legally (ASA, NFHS).

I am actually looking for the NFHS Book. But according to Irishmafia's posting it doesn't look like that is possible.

If you are a registered NFHS umpire, coach or administrator you can register at their website and have access to an on-line version of both their rule and case book. It's just not available to the general public.

The on-line version is searchable, but you can't download the whole thing to your computer.

(It's also not current, as the one there now is the 2007 version. I guess that's a notch better than the baseball version- it is still the 2006 book! Kudos for the effort of putting these on-line. But it would be nice if they kept them up-to-date.)
