Anyone hear about a big event happening at the UNLV tournament next Thursday?

Loiusville Slugger Collegiate Tournament.

UTEP vs Canadian National Team
BYU vs Northwestern St.
UTEP vs Northwestern St.

And a whole lot of festive celebration?

Willie and Dani said something about marrying at a tournament, I thought. Is this their event?

They will be married on the field before the tournament starts on Valentine's day.:)

To those wondering who we are talking about, that would be Willie Newman and Dani Carson, two top gun umpires from Southern California. Willie has worked several WCWS, while Dani has worked several DIII National Championships. Great umpires, and quality people, that I had a chance to meet and work with at the Colorado Fireworks Tournament.

Sounds like our brethern are gonna have a real shin-dig. Good luck to them. Everyone stay safe, and try to have some fun.
