arrrrrrgggggh...again

As SRW can attest, I tried to work again this past weekend (with doctor's blessings).

And, as SRW can attest, uh, let's just say things did not go completely ok.

I am disgusted with the medical profession as a whole and one surgeon in particular. Anyway, didn't want to alarm the troops on Saturday and, on the way home, took a couple nitros. (Yes, I know I'm stupid, but hey, if I die at the ball park, well...that would be ok.)

Oh, I forgot, I was disgusted enough with my health issues I left much of my stuff with SRW.

Stopped at ER after taking the two nitros along the way, spent time again in the hospital, but this time hospital of my own choosing. It's still a part of the ticker they can't really do anything about except popping me back open.

Anyway...they are going to try a new med to see if it will work.

And SRW, don't get rid of my stuff yet.

If this keeps up, you'll end up in an episode of Grey's Anatomy!

Don't be stupid, it is better for all if you just quit working and concentrate on evaluating and training your replacements.

Edited for clarification: I am not referring to you as stupid if you continue to umpire. That comment refers to you continuing doing something you shouldn't just to do it regardless of the medication. Umpiring just isn't worth your life.

Yes, I have been there. Two heart attacks. Now the wonder of meds have
really improved.

Just wish I could find something for disc problems. I have four in my neck
area that are all but gone. C5, C6, C7, and T1. Too old for an operation
that only has 50% chance of curing the problem.
