Men's State D Tournament
First day of Men's SP D States:
32 games 49 over-the-fence untouched fair batted balls; 49 half-inning ending over-the-fence batted balls; Approximate a dozen lead-off half-inning ending over-the-fence batted balls; At least two bases loaded, no outs over-the-fence half-inning ending batted balls. Ain't life grand! |

We have our men's slow pitch D states this weekend. Unfortunately they are at the largest fields in the city. :(

We had ours a couple of weeks ago and the best one was bottom of the seventh with the home team down by one. The bases were loaded with one out and the batter nails one over the left field fence. Game Over, You Lose!

Update to this. 41 games, 4 half inning ending outs. :( however, we did have a countless number of games where the losing team avoided the 12-run rule by 1 or 2 runs, thus stretching us to the full 7. :( |
Playing in a tournament this weekend in jersey involving a team that has won all kinds of tournaments and states and such. I\'m sure that the homerun limit will be maxed in the 1st inning. Any one hear of the team called Gashouse/Hudson Trucking?

I know a lot of guys in B/C/D ball that can knock one over the fence without even trying. They have to try to not hit it over.
|
 Beer + 300.00 Bats = 1 Great Game. They should go back to wooden bats when it actually took bat speed and power to hit a long ball.:D
|
Anyone want to put a pool together on how long it is before the COR drops below .40?

 I thought that was a relevant response to your original post.Your topic was the amount of balls hit over the fence in a SP D tournament wasnt it? Beer and/or intelligence of the players combined with high tech bats would be a pretty good assumption. Thanks for your moderation of my post.
