Casting Call for Girls Fastpitch Sports Movie
The Louisiana Film Center is conducting auditions for lead actors-athletes for
the upcoming movie STATE. The auditions are for the lead positions on the main team. Talent must look like she can be in high school. It is a family oriented sports drama movie. For audition submission guidelines visit our web site at www.statethemovie.net Please help us spread the word to other coaches and athletes in your network. This is a grassroots campaign to get the word out and we need your help. Thanks, STATE Production Staff |
Hope its as good as it looks like it could be.
I'm available of course for umpiring or a rules advisory position. ;) |

Why don't they just use the girls they had for the "trailer" video? They look pretty convincing to me.
Oh, and should I be worried that the demo script consistantly uses "your" when it should say "you're"? |

It's all "ya'll" anyway. And personally, I believe the girls in the trailer don't have big enough hair. |

Always remember: "Y'all" is singular, "All y'all" is plural.
My DD related to me that some of her classmates were going on a trip with a school organization and had a trip shirt made with the word spelled "ya'll". When someone pointed out that the apostrophe was supposed to be placed where the missing letters came from, they were mortified and would no longer wear the shirt. To tell you the truth, if I'm wearing a shirt that has that word on it, I'm not really too worried about where the apostrophe goes. (As a South Carolinian still living in South Carolina) |
What is with the sudden rush of SC-connected umpires?
I grew up there; went to college there; still have family there... |
