Lived in Seneca for a spell. That's pret neah Walhalla, and a bit down the road from Six Mile. Now from Jawgia, it's "way over yonder!"

Culture shock is the new son-in-law. Been with us about 18 months now. He is from Boston. I think that's up north somewhere, a bit above Atlanta, but he does seem to talk a bit strange!

Do keep him in remembrance (and all in his shoes). He is an E7 deploying to Baghdad at months end for the third time. Strange accent or not, we want him back safe!

I'm sure the rest of the guys are somewhat less than interested, but since we've had to put up with all the insider discussion from the TX crowd all these years...

I know the area well. I went to college just down the road from there.

I grew up in the low country.

IPTAY ?

I remember working at KFC during the homecoming games. Fried tons of chicken all day long! At the time, that's about all that was there. There was the pizza place that was a favorite hangout, but can't remember the name. We could "sneak" and buy the pitchers. I guess I looked a bit older than I was.

Witnessed the streaking parties of the 70's at Clemson, never participated though. Had a sister attend one year, (75-76). I understand a lot has changed there since '75.

Can y'all believe it? $um*****es come back from Georgia with a hankerin fer sweet tea. Had to give him what was our basic recipe fer sweet tea (six tea bags, cuppa sugar, two cups water in a medium saucepan that has been used fer about 40 years fer one purpose only, to make tea...bring to a rollin boil fer ten minnits, pour it over two trays of ice cubes in a 40 year old plastic pitcher which has been used fer one purpose only).
