Any other boards that can help me learn?

Do any of you know of any other message boards that would help me to learn about umpiring ASA SP Mens, Womens, and Co-ed Rec leauges and tourneys? I just recieved my liscense and I'm trying to read as much as possible, already been through the 3 pages here, need more real life experience and answers... Been through the book as well, working on re-reading everything again.

There are nearly 200 pages in this forum. Scroll down to the bottom and change the "Showing threads ... From the "Last 2 weeks" to whatever longer time you want.

That should keep me busy for awhile, thanks. Are there any other resources (websites) that you guys know of that might help me out?

The eteamz rules board is worth checking out, but it is a bit more obstreperous than here (more coaches and others just wanting to argue, etc.) and deals only with fastpitch. eteamz fastpitch rules board

Not sure if you will learn much there, unless Mike or one of the regulars here is posting! Otherwise it tends to be a lot of opinions and not much rules cited. IMHO. Don't think there is anything you could learn there that you would not learn here better.

>>>obstreperous<<<

Bet you won't learn that on eteamz!

Not that I've been on this (http://eteamz.active.com/fastpitch/b...softballumpire) board, but...

the name sounds like it is for fastpitch. In the OP, by Agreen_14, it's made clear that the wanted subject is slowpitch...

You're right, and I did point that out. But, 90% or so of the rules are the same. Mike will be happy to correct my percentages! :D

There is a slowpitch discussion board at www.eteamz.com as well.
