So I'm at the 1A high school State Tourney this weekend. Having a blast in the 80 degree heat... getting sunburned, the whole deal!

2 games on (base, plate), one game off, repeat. 4 games today. Probably 4 tomorrow.

My first plate game: Visitors 0, Home 1.
My second plate game: Visitors 0, Home 1. In 8 innings. Run was unearned. :(

The home team in the first game was the visiting team in the second game. Basically, I had 2 runs in 15 innings. :eek:

Great time tho.

Another of SRW's classmates for which I am partially responsible is a part-time contributor to this board: Streamdoc. Streamdoc had a great day on Friday at his state tournament, and will have a busy day on Saturday. Haven't heard from the others, but here's hoping all was well.

My young, fair skinned friend. Use a sunblock, something around a 45. You will still get some color, but without the inherent dangers.

Take it from someone whose family once worshiped the sun and it's tanning factors, only to lose some members to it. Having a bronzed complexion is not worth your life.
