SRW and State, Take 2
So, says one of the teachers, beaming and thinking of doing something like smoking a cigar and getting a snifter of brandy (even though I haven't had a drink in 20 years)...
Not only did SRW go to his first state tournament this weekend... He was the PU for the championship game. WAY TO GO SRW!!!!!  His UIC is and was particularly fickle (which is NOT a fault), so he must have had a damned good tournament up to that point. Congrats. (Hope ya took Mike's advice about the sunscreen...)

Final game was a 10-9 final... tied into the 7th 8-8, visitors score 1 in top of 7, home scores 2 in the bottom of the 7th... woot!
It was a test of lineup card management, as well. If you know Emily's system for managing it, you'll appreciate it. I'll scan them in the next few days and show y'all. And yes, I used sunblock... all weekend. I got a nice tan too.
