Head First Slide in ASA

I know this likely has been covered at 1 time or another, but I cannot find it mentioned in any threads. SO, I am going to ask the question.

I keep hearing people tell me that the head first slide is not legal in ASA fast pitch softball. I was asked about it again last night so I pulled out the ASA rule book and went on a search (but would it be nice to have this in a PDF so we could search on words, but that is another debate. I could not find any mention of head first slide. Since I cannot find it, I am thinking it is allowed.

Can someone enlighten me on this subject and piont me to the rule if I overlooked it.

Thanks,
clevbrown
