You have seen Eric's name on this board - just recently. I forget who posted that he was heading to the worlds', but it was posted here.
I was supposed to work a couple of games with him a week or 2 ago, but the snow got in the way. And my real job schedule didn't allow me to take the make-up date.
He's in one of the college groups I'm in. He's a good guy and obviously a heck of an ump.

Eric is one the finest people I`ve met in softball , heck , in life .

Yah, a friend of a friend introduced me to Eric a couple or three years ago. Heckuva guy and a damned fine umpire. I hope all of you have read the story. Like many "overnight successes," 25 years or so of good hard solid work can pay off.
