NFHS CLINIC umpire
 

I am from WV and was unaware of the last clinic date for softball, if there is one not to far from my location I will attend if i can. Can someone help me....

If you are talking about high school level, then this website should help you. If you are talking ASA, then this website should be of help. The second one only gives you the name of the person you need to contact if you are interested in getting into ASA umpiring.

And while I am at it, here is a list of National Umpiring Schools that ASA has.

February 21 6 p.m. Anne Arundel AA Co. Board of Ed. - TONIGHT
February 22 8 p.m. Calvert/Charles Co./Tri-County Chopticon HS
February 27 8 p.m. Tri-State Beall HS
February 28 8 p.m. Northeastern Bel Air HS
March 1 7 p.m. Montgomery County County Office Building-Rockville

Beall HS is in Allegany Co if you are in north WV.
Otherwise, Rockville is probably closest.
Bel Air is 20-25 minutes from Baltimore

If you are talking HS, I think you are screwed. The last one was February 12. You should have gotten a list of dates and locations in your packet. It's possible that you might be able to go to Parkersburg and watch the video - it's pricey ($100), but if you want to umpire it's probably the only route you have - plus you'll make up the money in your first couple of games.
