ASA Slow Pitch Uniform
 

Updating my equipment for the upcoming season. Do any of you wear or have you seen anybody wearing the "Fitted Pro Mesh Umpire Cap" during championship play?

The park where I work most leagues went to these as part of their standard uniform (different from ASA Uni) 2 years ago and they are very comfortable but I've yet to take notice of anybody wearing this during championship play.

Yes I have seen them being worn in championship play. I believe they are approved to be worn at all levels, including nationals. I am sure that Mike will correct me if I am wrong, but I worn mine in the national I did this year.

That's good news. Did you "Block it" or wear it comfortable?

I'd think the mesh would have a hard time holding a crease.

The mesh blocks almost as well as the wool.

I have worn them at nationals consistently for the years that they have been available, and I think I was at at least one national each year.
