Asa, Nhfs, Ncaa

Another point that Henry Pollard made to us this weekend at the 14A Nationals was the move towards one consitant set of rules for ASA, NHFS and NCAA.

ASA Rule 8.7.L Exception is an example. It originated in NCAA when one or more coaches complained that without the Exception, it would take a no hitter away from their pitchers. If you award BR 1B, scored it a hit.

It may take a few more years, but there is an effort to make this all happen as soon as possible.

It is also likely that ASA and NHFS will move the pitching distance to 43 feet for ALL age groups.

It would be wonderful but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

When will the 43 foot thing happen?
