This is really funny when told by the above individual.


While doing a 10U game I was getting pounded by
the balls that the catcher was missing. Took
this for 2 innings, then beginning in 3rd I went
into my slow pitch stance so I could see what the
catcher was doing, thinking maybe I could offer
some advice. I look back when pitcher ready to de-
liver ball and this (10yr old) catcher has eyes
SHUT, glove stuck out for pitcher to hit.

I call time and explain to her that it is much
easier to catch the ball when you can see it. Open
your eyes and watch the ball come into the glove.

The catcher (10yr old) lifts the mask looks directly
up at me and says, "Big Boy, you chose this profession
now you live with it."

He told us he wanted to smack her on the back of the
helment, but restrained, cause he was laughing so hard.

Kids do say the darnest things. I think I would have had to stop the game for a while I would have been laughing so hard
