Coach Signals Batter Too long

How do you handle it when a coach has developed a set of signals that takes, let's say 5 to 10 seconds (whatever you consider excessive) between every pitch? The pitcher is standing on the PP ready to pitch. I let it go mostly but started counting 5 thousand then saying - "Let's play batter" This was 10U tournament ball.

First of all, in a tournament setting with time limits and all, you have to establish early on that you WILL not let them to take excess time in between pitches. TELL the kid, 'OK'...if that doesnt work, then say 'thats enough' ..and if THAT don't work, THEN tell the kid 'Play BALL'..THEN if that doesnt work (if the coach is that stupid....which some of them are...),have a little chat with him/her about time limits and such....at 10u especially you do NOT want to have the pitcher throw a pitch with the batter distracted....

Any coach who is using that a complicated signal scheme for 10u(or for ANY level, actually ) deserves a good talking to anyways....

I wasn't specific enough: these are the signals from the 3rd base coach to the batter.
