Tag up responsibilities......
 

Can someone give me the breakdown of the tag up responibilities for the 2 umpire system in Slow Pitch please?

Speaking ASA

With one runner on, the BU has all tag ups.

With more than one runner on, the PU has the lead runner and the BU all other runners.

Of course, different situations may call for a deviation from the given mechanic as long as it is properly communicated between/among the crew.

Ditto - NFHS, PONY, NCAA (divided by BU)

That would be "deviation".

The Plate Umpire has tag responsibilities under the following situations:
1. All runners at third base.
2. The runner at second base with runners at first and second.
The Base Umpire has tag responsibilities under the following situations:
1. All runners at first base.
2. The runner at second base with runners at second and third bases or
second base only.
3. Runners at first and second base when the bases are full.
As already said these are followed procedures Unless there is Communication between umpires.
