For those who don't know, the NFHS Forum was shut down today because of too much personal abuse in comments.
I sent the request below to NFHS via their "Contact Us" link. Please help get this back if you participate in the NFHS Softball Forum or would like to.

"Please reinstate the discussion forum for officials. While I agree there has been too much abuse lately on soccer and maybe others, I saw no problem with softball and we really need it at this time of year."

Cecil - Good idea and I will send a request in as well.

I only read the NFHS Volleyball and Softball Forums as those are the only sports I actively officiate, and I never saw any issues with those forums.

Sent my email earlier today.

Just sent my e-mail request, via the "Contact Us" portion, to get the Forum back in operation.

I also received an email from NFHS Information Services, part of which says:

"I’m wondering if you would be interested in being a moderator on the forum. This would enable you to remove posts that are inappropriate in tone. If a person continues to misuse the forum, you could notify me and I’d disable their account and make any needed contact.

I plan to reach out to a handful of individuals regarding this idea. If any are interested I would provide some form of information to equip them to handle the task. Please be assured, it’s quite easy. "


I think I would do that if it gets the Forum back, but I would not want it to be just me, so please respond positively if you get the same request.

NFHS Forum is back on line.
