You've got 30 plus years experience and 3,800 posts on this message board alone. I respect and applaud you for your efforts to spread your knowledge. While it is true you have forgotten more than I have learned, my views are based on my previous 40 years of playing, coaching, parenting, being a fan, and a youth league official.
