I've played or umpired softball in central NJ (Mercer, Burlington, Somerset, Hunterdon) for many years. I know of no wood bat league.
A few years ago, the sponsor of a very large annual slow pitch tournament toyed with the idea of adding a wood bat tourney on another weekend. He told me that he gave up his idea when it generated no interest.
