In Championship Play, a game suspended for weather is picked up from the point where it was stopped.

If, for some reason, the game cannot be continued, it merely needs to be of 5 complete innings, 4.5 innings if the home team is winning.

Rule 5.3-C makes any game played regulation in 5 or more innings, or if the home team is ahead, etc., etc., and if the game is called for darkness. Only national tournaments are governed by ASA Code 510 C, which requires all games be considered suspended unless they cannot be continued.
