WSA Finalized itninerary for Super Worlds 10/21 - 10/23 #1

Thanks for everyones input as we had a meeting with the others from our National Board and came to terms with the following schedule which we feel will best suit ALL of our teams.

WSA Weekend Itinerary

Thursday October 20th 7:00 PM: Team Check In Redding BLDreams Complex.
Teams can check in and receive armbands for the weekend. Souvenir Booth will also be open and can openly tour the park.

8:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Manufacturer Showdown $10 20 pitches Check out all the latest bats from all manufacturers and have the ability to swing them against live pitching
Long Throw Contest $5 3 attempts Winner who makes the longest throw receives Vinci Pro Package.
Homerun Derby: 10 Pitches $20, winner receives Easton Sponsored Bat Package worth $500
Finals for Homerun Derby will be Saturday Night

Friday October 21 8:00 AM – 5:00PM
Park is open all day for Manufacturer Showdown, Long Throw Contest, Homerun Derby. Souvenir Booth will be open and Teams can practice on any open field prior to 5PM
We will also conduct Team Check in during these hours, Roster Adds and issues will be handled during this time. ALL OUTSTANDING TOURNAMENT FEES MUST be paid prior to the coaches meeting.

Friday October 21 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Managers Meeting
A representative from each team MUST be present in order to draw for their team. It will be a blind draw and 10 teams from the E division will play that night.

Friday October 21 7:30 PM – Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers Throws out First Pitch
Rollie Fingers will be on hand to be the Master of Ceremonies and throw out the first pitch to begin WSA Championship Play. There is a slight possibility Dontrelle Willis will also be on hand provided Florida marlins are not in the playoffs.

Rollie will sign autographs right afterwards until 9:30 PM
$20 per item autographed / Baseballs and Color photographs will be on hand
Glamour Girls will also be signing autographs for $10 each

Saturday October 22, 0800 AM – 11:00PM
Tournament Play Continues

Sunday October 23, 0800 am – 9:00 PM
Tournament Play Continues

I am wishing everyone luck and look forward to next years Worlds which will be held in League City Texas at their newly opened Big LeagueDreams Sports Park

Again, anyone wanting to attend, must download an applicationa nd submit it no later then October 15th, this goes FOR ALL QUALIFIED TEAMS

Sure hope Rita leaves your field alone. I lived in Champions, Tx up until 5 years ago and still consider Houston home. I'll be praying for for all of you down there.
