Bases loaded. F1 covers the plate on a bad pitch. As F1 returns and is within the pitcher's circle, R3 is still moving in the direction of 2nd base. With R2 standing on second, R3 knows that R2 is there and is now 2/3 the way to 2nd with F1 now on the plate. Nobody has complained or yelled at F1 yet!
Without any arguements, can R3 continue moving toward 2nd as long as the next pitch hasn't been made?
Someone finally noticed and got F1's attention. She immediately overthrew 1st and everyone advanced with R1 scoring. I had the bases. Did I blow it?
