just feel a little off? Thanks to an injury, I just started umpiring this year for the first time the past week. I feel, especially with my strike zone, like something is just not clicking like it usually does. Any advice on getting back to normal?

Have you got a favorite park or team to call, a game that is strictly recreational? When I get that "I'm not on" feeling, I try to book a game that is just "fun", where I can relax, and make the adjustments.

I have an in-park program I have called and booked for over 10 years, where "everyone knows your name". The have a "Senior" league which is 13-18, and reasonably competitive, but still just a pure recreational attitude. I love calling that league for pure fun, mental relaxation, and opportunities to make adjustments to my game. If you have a similar place, go there.
