Ok.... This discussion board seems to be about as dead as the JV game I had last Friday.... 36-4...... The only variation in the girls getting to first was that not all of them got there on 4 balls.... about 25% got hit by the ball.
Anyway... What do you all think about wearing sun glasses in a game???.... I'm talking about the non-prescription type... Do you see any safety issues in either playing defense or offense?

No problems with me........either with the players or the umpires.

I personally think it's a good idea, especially the UV blockers. Studies have shown that prolonged exposure to UV is a factor in cataract development. Sunglasses also improve visual acuity on high glare days such as days with high thin clouds that diffuse the sunlight.

I agree with Sam & Joel. They're legal & it's OK. And, I don't think that sunglasses are something that Fed gives us any jurisdiction over.
