Actually, if it is in the strike zone, it is a dead ball strike regardless of whether the uni is tucked in or not or whether you told her or not
Well, let's rethink that. If you have decided NOT to call a hit batter if the ball hits only a loose shirt that was supposed to be tucked in, then why would you call dead ball? It is either a ball or a strike, depending on location, but it should still be live. WMB
