I was wondering if anybody knows why when a runner is hit with a batted ball while on base under NFHS she is not out? Is it because of the smaller field?

which league is she out in?

I only do ASA and Fed.. not out. I dont know why thats a rule anymore than why there are 3 strikes and not 5.. but its a ball rule..

The poster isn't talking softball associations here. S/he is comparing it to baseball, and you know how I feel about that ;)

They don't stay on the base in that game. That's why the games last soooo stinking long!
