Thinking about buying a couple of the UA ColdGear shirts. Does anyone use them and do they keep you warm? We swear by the summer warm gear.

Any opinions?

I like the UnderArmor cold weather gear. It is an effective layer, comfortable, and certainly is easier to maintain mobility than a sweater or sweatshirt. But, don't believe the claim that it is good down to 40, or whatever number they use; it is a great added layer on a cold day or night ONLY.

UnderArmour cold weather gear

I used mine yesterday (it was TX Panhandle cold in the Seattle area...wind blowing and chilly) and it was very nice. I swear by it.

I like it

I love it....wear it in football all the time. Wife wears it when she walks the dog as a layer under a jacket.

I had a problem wearing a mock turtleneck or sweater with my gear. Problem is I sweat so much.

Wearing coldgear (at least to me) under the gear is ideal, as you get the sweat away from your body, you don't get the cyclical freeze/cook that happens with a tutleneck or long-sleeve sweatshirt or long undies, and you get mobility back.

It least for me, coldgear is the way to go. And it comes in my size, which is nice.

I too use only UA in the summer for similar reasons---it gets the sweat away from my body and keeps me cooler)
