Question

Since the thread on Crow Hops reappeared, I have a question.

How many Crow Hops do you see a year?

Excluding the men's division, I doubt that any of us see a
crow hop. Lots of leaping maybe.

In all my years of umpiring, I have only once seen a pitcher who uses a true crow hop. And it was amazing how quickly she could quit it when it was called.

Nearly every tournament I see a leaper, though.

No, you did not.

But I am glad that it has warmed up you way.

Here also, but raining, well drizzle.

I have only seen one true crow hopper and that was 7
years ago in HS. Her dad an coach both knew she did
it, but could not get her to stop. Most umpires did
not call it, maybe they did not recognize it.
