Why no search...Past thread needed

Why has the search feature been disabled ? I need to find any past threads that talk about the lack of contact needed to create or call interference on a runner between 2 bases.

That function has not worked for sometime.

I went back 10 pages of 04. Found only one, but really

Just go by the book. Since contact is not necessary, anything
such as waving, shouting at the defender as the ball approaches
her, could be interference. No contact there, but interference
would normally be called.

Just a WAG - web server bandwidth limitation? (many users doing a search + many threads = high demand on the web server)

Or another WAG - the number of posts on the site has outgrown the search technology in the board software (i.e. searching 200K posts takes too long)?

The site is little more than a chat room without search, though. JMHO.
