Can anyone tell me why all the lineup cards cannot all be the same size, so you can just take them out of your pocket and change the lineup without having to unfold a piece of paper.

They can be as soon as your company starts producing them and distributes them to every team free of charge. Then you need to get your sanctioning body to change the rule book to make your brand of line-up cards the one and only line-up card legal for their game under threat of forfeiture.

Yes, I'm being facetious, but that is the only true and accurate answer I have available.

To add to Mikes reply, I am sure that ONE company would
like to be the sole provider for all the line-up cards,
given the number of softball teams that are registered.

Hmmmmm, might be worth looking into.

I always wanted a get rich quick plan.

Umm, Glen, please note. Mike said "and distributes them to every team free of charge." I don't know about you, but I don't see much of a "get rich quick" scheme in that.
