budda69,
Fall Rec ball has started, HS ball is in the fall, and this is also tournament time for JV, VAR and Travel so some of us are spread pretty thin. Added to the fact that those of us that have moved to FP find it hard to get excited to travel 100+ miles to watch SP

Bagman62, I got you on that. I also do HS FP, I thought that someone on the board would have got pick to ump the women's national.

Hey Jel,

I think there is one of your umps coming down from Lagrane.

I'm not certain, but I beleive there is. I will try and find out who. There is supposed to be a Camfast tourney (12U) here this weekend, but at last report very few teams entered. Not sure it will play. It's also rec football opening day, I will be going to watch the little man play.

Funny tale 'bout football, last year the wife and I were working a double header for LaGrange college and the son had a football game. One of his sisters took him then brought him by the softball field. Son came up behind backstop and I asked "did you win?" He said NO. I asked "which team beat you?" His answer was "the team with the GIRL!" The fans overheard and got the biggest kick out of that.

Hey Buddha,

I found out Andre Robinson will be coming your way to call that tourney. She will do a good job, has several years of slow-pitch under her belt. Don't cross her though, she has arresting authority! long time police officer here in Lagrange. She was at Dalton clinic, but was late on sat and not in the picture.
