Torch's Referee & Umpire Supplies in Merritt Island, Florida has plate brushes with holes in them to check bat sizes: one for softball bats and one for baseball bats.
His website is: http://www.OfficialsSupplies.com and his telephone number is: 800-209-8142 , pin no.: 0107. 15 years ago I had a machine shop make me one out of brass. I'll have it all my life..& on those rare occassions when I need to bring it out ITS IMPRESSIVE. The sound of a metal bat ring sliding down a bat is so much more real, then a el-cheapo plastic ring.
