Can I get some feedback on what the call would be for this scenario: Batter has two strikes on her. She swings at the third pitch and it hits her hand which is holding the bat and goes foul. Is it a dead ball or is it a called third strike?

Dead ball because the batter was hit by a pitch.

Strike because the batter swing at the pitch and missed.

Whether it went into fair or foul territory is irrelevant since it is not a batted ball.

The call is the same as it would be for a swing at a pitch that hits the batter in the foot.
