Any fielder can use a glove or mit, however there are size restrictions on all fielder's gloves other than the catcher. Length - 14", width (across the fingers) - 8", and webbing width - 5 3/4".
Providing you are not "speaking ASA" and some of the other associactions. Above is true for NFHS.
