Help, please!

High School, FED Rules. Batter swings at a pitch, takes a hard pitch on the fingers. Strike called, batter told to remain in the box. Batter unable to continue, due to finger injuries. No eligible subs available.

I have found the rule that discusses a runner unable to continue when there are no eligible subs available. I cannot find anything about an injured batter.

Thanks for your help.

The rule is 3-3-8-b.
Quote:

When the player who could not continue is scheduled to bat, an out shall be called.
So, if your batter cannot continue, you have no eligible subs for her, and you still have 8 other players in the batting order, you can continue the game, but the batter is out.

Next time that batter came up would that be an out or since it was an injury do you just skip her?

Each subsequent time you come to the slot that is now a "hole" (vacated), an automatic out is charged. (PO 2, if you're scoring at home ;) )
