Bobby sox rules. Kid walks into dugout thinking it's strike three, but only has two strikes on her. Is she out? ASA says no, but I'm told Bobby Sox is an out call. Can you confirm this?

Bobby Sox is an organization that has been around for a long time specifically for girls softball. It might even be older than ASA.

I knew what Bobby Sox was, Mike, but I can't help you. They don't exist up here (so far as I know), and I couldn't find their rules anywhere online.

Bobby Sox program does have a nice website, but like ASA
they don't post their rules on-line. No Bobby Sox groups
in this area (East Texas) that I know of. I would not
think that they would have an out for this, since it is
depriving a young lady from actually completing her turn
at bat. Though wrieder things happen.

Bobby Sox was founded in 1962. ASA is much older, founded in 1933.
