Arm out left? Arm out right? Or arm out away from batter?

Book shows (DDB) Left arm out, maybe to distinguish it from a strike.
Book shows (No Pitch) two hands up.

Right arm...strikes and outs..... left arm for the DDB....always.... unless you dont have a left arm
