The varsity game I worked tonight ended with a triple play.
Situation: Base loaded, no outs, left handed batter at the
plate. Infield in tight, with F3 and F5 slightly more in
than F6 and F4, with the pitch F4 breaks towards 1B, batter
slaps a line shot that F4 catches on the move, steps on 1B,
retiring R3 and fires a bullet to F5 who barely beats R1 to
the bag. Visitors were batting down 3-2...Ball game. Both
teams utilized DP/FLEX and tested it pretty good without
messing up.
