Ball hits yellow tubing on top of fence
 
I had a game last night where the ball hit the yellow tubing on top of the fence and ricocheted into fair territory. we called it a live ball and she ended up on second.

what do you have?

I think you mean situation S (a); but as long as the hit point is in fair ground, live ball. Why wouldn't it be?
