ESPN Batters box
 

Anyone notice that the graphic ESPN uses for the batters box makes the batters box improperly marked. You would think they could get that one right.

The announcers yak, yak, yak.... then ask why the count 0-3, it should be 2-1.... moments later, oh we missed an illegal pitch.:)

After years of watching college softball on ESPN, I don't wonder anything anymore. They seem to seek out people who, while they may have played the game, have the least grasp on the rules and or flow of the game. The talking heads often want to second guess the umpiring crew, more often than not, incorrectly. Best thing to do is just turn down the volume! :)

Better question is whether anyone pays any attention to ESPN commentators in softball or baseball or at all to that graphic. :rolleyes:
