OfficialHub.net
I know that I have asked this question about another assigning website and now I have a question about a different one.
Has anyone been assigned games by an assigner that uses OfficialHub.net? What are its pros and cons versus Arbiter as well as ZebraWeb.org? Thanks. MTD, Sr. |
ACC and Big South use OfficialHub.net. The conference coordinators for softball don't much like it, have tried to discuss not using it. But these conferences are too financially and individually invested in it to allow anything else.
If you are looking for an alternative to Arbiter, well, I happen to think it (Arbiter) is the best, so far. Some recent growing pains, but the platform is still the best I've seen. Between my rec/high school association, and assisting with some college associations and conferences' coordinators on Arbiter, my connection is about 350 users. |
I am on Officialhub.net and it was a pain at first and felt it was much more difficult than Arbiter, but after getting use to it becomes easier. Though I still prefer Arbiter.

Oneword: Itsux. I hate using it.
I work full time for my primary job, and I need to conditionally block every weekday to inform my assignor that I can't really work early weekday games, but can work later games that are close to where I live. It won't let me pick multiple days to do those blocks. It only allows me to block each individual day. Also, there have been times where I blocked a date, and then when I went back to check, the block didn't take. It's also very slow to respond. When I click a link, it takes three or four seconds before it goes to that site. I just tried to do a block of a day, and it took 9 seconds before it showed up. |
