More DP/FLEX
Maybe a repeat, but I don't remember it.
.................................................. ....... lineup slots #1 #2 #21 #9 #14 #8 DP #4 F8 #7 F3 #33 F1 #31 F9 - FLEX Changes, one at a time: DP #8 plays defense for #7, #7 now OO (Offense Only) #7 goes back on defense for #33, #33 now OO #31 FLEX bats for DP #8 DP #8 reenters Any issues? I know we don't all agree on the OO designation, but please let that go and stay on topic. |
All perfectly legal so far other than 7 cant play for 33. When 7 came back on defense and 33 was on bench it is really the DP that is playing defense for 33, not 7.

In the order that Cecil describes, it's ok. DP comes in for 7 at F3. While DP is still at F3, 7 comes in to pitch for 33. All good.
Then Flex bats for DP in their offensive half of the inning, then DP re-enters (at F3 again if she wants). |
Only question is: What did you do with the Flex when the DP re-entered?
Did she return to the Flex position, or leave the game? |

Better wording --- #7 plays defense instead of #33. |

Is FLEX continuing to play defense or not? |
