Error in USA Umpire Manual

Finally got my 2017 copies of the USA rule book and umpire manual yesterday.

While looking through the umpire manual last night I noticed that there have been quite a few edits (grey shaded passages of text) this year. But I think that they accidentally edited an error into the book!

I don't have it with me right now, so can't check the page number. Look under the section about the two umpire system. With a runner on first base only, look at what it says the plate umpire must cover if there's a ground ball on the infield.

It was late, and I was tired, but if I read that right...they really screwed that up!

I think you are discussing the correction on page 56.

I was looking at the USA website yesterday too, and looked at the plays/clarifications page, but didn't see anything for April.
