PIAA Pitch Count
 
At dinner with a few umpiring colleagues last night, and one mentioned that pitch count in PIAA softball was all but a done deal. Effective when, he wasn't sure.
PIAA is PA's Fed ball. So it may be including all Fed.

Has anyone heard this?

There is no pitch count in PIAA softball for the 2017 season. I am not aware of the discussion about pitch count for softball for 2018. I feeling is that PIAA will not implement a pitch count unless it comes from Fed.

There is a pitch count is PIAA BASEball. I'm not sure of the PIAA rule vs the NFHS rule (don't care, I don't work baseball).
