2016 Rule Books
 
Does anybody know why the NFHS 2016 Rules Publications are not online this year?

Because like everything else they do they are slow. Plus the fact that they published every 2 year, and was published in 2015. So there will not be another one till next, if my memory serves me right. So you use last years book, with the 2016 changes.

NASO does have a couple books they may help you. One is the NFHS rules by topic, and the other one is FHS HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL RULES SIMPLIFIED & ILLUSTRATED: 2016.

That's the Umpire Manual that is printed every two years, Rules and Case books are every year.

Looks like they want you to buy them now from Itunes or Amazon. Bunch of crap!

My Mistake
 
Sorry, but I misspoke. Found my rule books this morning and the are 2014 and 2015. So Federation should be issuing new rule books this year. But as I originally stated, they will take their time getting them out. I am sure we will not recieve our untill half the meeting are over. about 2 weeks before the season starts.

I don't get my books until our meeting but I always take the test early and use the online books from NFHS thru Arbitersports, now I'll have to wait. Already did test, would just like to check answers with an up to date rule book.

We got our here in SW Fl in December. Is there a "cartoon" version, aka Simplified? I know there used to be one for football when I worked that sport. Never saw one for softball.
