Here where I ref we are allowed to wear any color uniforms (except for fuchsia, which I actually kinda miss) so long as we all match. We wear gold most of the time. I just wondered ... which is your favorite color ref jersey and which do you wear most in your area?

BLACK. I'm a traditionalist. I believe that gold is now listed as the primary color in the book, so it is what is worn most often by the majority of referees.

Also, a great many youth referees only own one or two shirts, so they buy gold first and then add from there. This often limits the choice available to a crew.

Mostly black. But the yellow shirt is becoming more and more popular.

If the temp is below 55 I go for black to absorb every degree of warmth the sun may provide.

Most all officials own SS & LS in gold. Black is second most popular.

Blue is still my favorite, though I haven't gotten a chance to wear it yet. I see a lot of red at USSF games.
