I'm so glad for this change. One less GQ rule to worry about. Softball has made the same rule change for this season. Yeah!! I'll be interested if basketball follows suit for next season.

I love this video. I found it by luck a couple of seasons ago. I review it each year at prior to the beginning of the season in order to get my focus into volleyball mode. It's a great learning aid.

My ear plugs don't have a filter. I don't wear them all the time only when it's a noisy gym (small gyms with metal roofs) or a multiple court event. My thinking is to use what works for you.

The play that you saw was ruled incorrectly, IMO. Rule 9-4-8b says that multiple contacts by a single player on the first hit are legal.

I have no clue what an inaccurate lineup is or means. I'll just continue to use this signal for an out-of-rotation call or an illegal server. Yet another "oopsie" by a NFHS rules writer, IMO.

Here in the Commonwealth of Virginia, the pre-season practices will begin next month on the 15th. I'm planning on working.
